King of the Hill Snocross Series

November 26, 2007

Lakewood, WI - Fantasy Moto has decided to turn its two weekends of early season snocross into a full on 4-Race Mini Series. Two weekends, four races – guaranteed snow early in the season.

Top performing racers competing in at least three of the four events will earn series awards. Both Semi-pro Open and Semi-pro Stock will be rewarded with 100% payback for each of the four races with an additional $500 going to the overall series champions in each class.

Colder temperatures have finally fallen upon upper Wisconsin and the snowmaking has begun for the first race of the season. December 7-9 will play host to an early season practice on Friday and then round 1 of the “King of the Hill Snocross Series” on Saturday followed by round 2 on Sunday. Weather permitting, the track will grow in length and make its way further up the “hill” for the second weekend of racing, December 28-30th.

“We’re really looking forward to utilizing the headwall for the second weekend of racing, admits TJ, proprietor of the former Paul Bunyan Ski Hill.” TJ ads, “if the trails are open that weekend between Christmas and New Years, we’re going to have a hell of a crowd. The snowmobile trail passes less than 100 yards from where we’re building the track. I’d say on a good day, there is close to 1000 sleds passing through here when the trail is open.”

It’s no secret that snocrossers have no fear, and that Red Bull supposedly “gives you wings.” There will be no shortage of airtime in this season’s layout, especially once the headwall is integrated into the coarse. The “Big Air – Air Force Academy” will return for 2007. There is only one way to join the air force and that is to EARN your way in. Announcer Ed Kaelber will set the standard high for 2007 and all racers that make the mark will be awarded with complimentary “Air Force” stickers throughout the four race series. Of course there can be only one “Captain” and the man with the balls to go the biggest will earn that title, along with a full size trailer decal recognizing him as such.

“King of the Hill Snocross Series” – awards and prize money for each round.

Round 1 – December 8th
Round 2 – December 9th
Round 3 – December 29th
Round 4 – December 30th

Optional practice days on Dec 7th and Dec 28th.

We’ve got all the ingredients for a great mini-series so get on, sit down, shut up and hang on cause we’re takin’ you for a ride – snocross style!

Both online and printable entry forms as well as times, prices and further details are available at www.fantasymoto.com Pre-entry deadline is Wednesday, Dec 5th for the first weekend of racing. Late fees will apply to entries received after that date.
