Found this recall notice in the March 06 Consumer Reports:

Wear or severe impact could cause front wheel to seperate from steering components, resulting in loss of control or death

21,900 ATV's sold 6/04 to 11/05, including brute force models KVF750-A1 and KVF750-B1.

Kawasaki received about 140 reports of tie rod problems.

Kawasaki is notifying owners to make arrangements for repair at dealer and is telling people to stop riding until repairs are made. For information call 866-802-9381.
